What you need
• 1 tsp (2–3g) Gua Cha matchaÂ
• 60 ml hot water (~80°C)
• 120–150 ml cold milk of choice
• Ice
For the strawberry layer
• 4–5 fresh strawberries (or frozen, thawed)
• 1–2 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
What you do
1. Blend or mash the strawberries into a smooth purée.
2. Sift and whisk the matcha with hot water until glossy and smooth.
3. Fill a glass with ice, add the strawberry purée.
4. Pour in the milk slowly. Let it layer.
5. Top with the matcha shot.
6. Stir if you must. Or sip it layered — your call.

For café vibes: lightly warm the strawberry purée before adding.
