What you need:
1 tsp (2–3g) Gua Cha matcha
60 ml hot water (~80°C)
120–150 ml milk of choice (oat or dairy work best)
½–1 tsp honey (adjust to taste)
A pinch of chilli powder or cayenne (very small, trust us)
Ice (optional, for iced version)
Whisk (or frother), bamboo spoon, glass tumbler
What you do:
Sift the matcha. This isn’t optional — smooth matcha only.
Add hot water and whisk in a quick zig-zag until frothy.
Stir honey into warm milk so it dissolves properly.
Add a tiny pinch of chilli and mix well.
Pour milk into your glass (over ice if you’re going cold).
Top with your matcha shot.
Sip slowly. Feel the warmth first, then the kick.
🧠 Pro tip:
Not into heat but curious? Start with chilli-infused honey instead of powder. Same flavour, softer spice. Still no sugar crash — just 🔥 focus energy.
